The ICD will need to collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and internal team to identify training strategy, content, and deliver training content that meets the client needs and expectations, on time

  • Design, storyboard and edit course content.

  • Collaborate effectively with executive education team members and other instructional designers to achieve common targets and goals.

  • Develop instructionally sound design document and/or content outline that include performance based objectives, adequately cover content area and target the right audience and complexity level.

  • Produce and design courses for all markets served by executive education division including experienced executives, teachers and administrators.

  • Play a key role in interviewing and collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs). Conduct research as necessary to define learning objectives and outcomes.

  • Recruit and select SMEs as needed to meet customer requirements and product road map objectives.




  • A degree in a related field and one or two years of professional writing, editorial or instructional design experience

  • Preference for candidates with a technical qualification, such as BCA, MCA, B.E., B.Tech, GNIIT, Aptech Certified, or an equivalent technical certification

  • Experience of working on technology-based projects

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and collaboration capabilities

  • Excellent editing as well as creative course design skills

  • Understanding of instructional design models, methodology, theories, etc.

  • Experience of working with modern authoring tools for Rapid Instructional Design processes


Associate Editor

As an editor, you will work with an enthusiastic and innovative team of Instructional Designers to review the course materials for quality, consistency, and adherence to standards. You will play a pivotal role in the course development process and ensure that the output at every stage of the process meets or exceeds customer expectations.

  • Check content to ensure it is well written and logically structured

  • Correct elements of language, such as grammar, syntax, tense, spelling, punctuation, etc.

  • Develop and maintain writing standards

  • Have an eye to identify possible legal problems in the content

  • Ensure alignment with the set standards

  • Publish and manage training repository

  • Publish periodic newsletters reiterating old and new standards




  • Excellent command over the English language

  • Graduation or an equivalent certification in English language

  • Experience of proof-reading in the publishing or training industry

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of written English literacy

  • Excellent written English, including good spelling and grammar

  • Excellent time-management skills to meet all deadlines through effective prioritization

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and other DTP skills

  • A love for the language

  • An interest in improving quality of output

  • Team spirit / orientation

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
